"One years seeds, seven year's weeds"

Weeds grow rapidly and can cause serous damage to your lawn and paved area's. If they are left untreated they can choke out your lawn and deprive it of light and nutrients. Who wants to look at unsightly weeds?

We apply a selective herbicide to your lawn, it sits on the leaf of the weed and is then drawn in and dries out the weed straight down the the roots. There will however always be seeds on your lawn that have not yet germinated. The seeds are spread by lawnmowers, birds, pets and the wind and because of this we highly recommend a follow up treatment to control the growth.

Weeds in the paved areas of your home makes the home look untidy and unkept. Pulling the weeds out does not always help as the roots are left behind to regrow. We use a non-selective range of herbicide that will kill the weeds so that they don't grow back.

Application

The Weed Control Treatment should be applied when the weeds are growing at it's strongest as they will draw the herbicide in through its leaves.

Weather for application

This treatment needs to be done in dry weather conditions and when the lawn is not wet from due or rain.

Lawn Preparations

It would be appreciated if animal feces and children's toys be removed from your lawn before treatment.

Mowing - Before and After

We recommend that you do not mow your lawn for 3 days before this treatment in order to see the problem areas, types of weeds and to leave as many leaves on your weeds to maximize the herbicide contact area for absorption.

Watering - Before and After

You must not water your lawn before this treatment. The herbicide will not adhere the the leave if wet. Normal watering can resume after 3 to 4 hours after application but we at Beautiful Lawns recommend that you only start watering from the following day.
